the bone collector
The Bone Collector
I collect bones
All kinds of bones from all kinds of animals
Fossils and teeth and chunks of fur
But mostly bones
Like Indiana Jones
I’m a bone collector
I keep them in paper and plastic grocery bags
No one asks why
Just, “keep them outside”
I like the way they feel in my hands
Dirty and textured
I’m a bone collector
